Gambaran Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Kepatuhan pada Remaja Putri Mengkonsumsi Tablet Tambah Darah di SMA Rebang Tangkas Kabupaten Way Kanan Tahun 2025

ABSTRACT

A problem that often arises in adolescent girls is anemia. Anemia is a disease of red blood cell deficiency. When the number of red blood cells decreases,oxygen intake and blood flow to the brain also decreases which causes a person to feel dizzy,weak,tired,lethargic and even faint. For women, anemia is defined as haemoglobin levels less than 12 gr/dl. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of knowledge, attitude and comnpliance in consuming TTD among adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 1 Rebang Tangkas, Way Kanan Regency.
The method used in this research is descriptive method, this research consists of3 variables ofknowledge, attitude and compliance in consuming TTD.The population in this study consisted of all class X students with a population of 66 people, the sample used in this study amounted to 44 respondents,the sampling technique used systematic random sampling using an interval scale. Data collection used in this study is by primary means or taken from individuals (individuals) from filling out questionnaires including identity, name, age, and residence of respondents.Secondary data sourced from the school in the form of TTD program data and the number ofclass X students. Data processing and univariate analysis to determine the frequency distribution of the observed variables so that the characteristics analyzed are known and the data is presented in the form of percentages (%) using SPSS software.
The results showed that the knowledge of adolescent girls at SMA Negri 1Rebang Tangkas Way Kanan Regency. obtained the results of knowledge with a good category of 40.9% and the attitude ofadolescent girls with a positive category of 68.18% compliance of adolescent girls taking blood-added tablets in the non-compliant category 75%. It is recommended that the school can work with the local health center to provide educational counseling about anemia in female students.Not only running the TTD administration program obtained from the puskesmas but also organizing drinking TTD together every 1x in a week, besides that, students are also advised to consume iron source foods (heme iron) and balanced nutrition.
