PENATALAKSANAAN ASUHAN GIZI TERSTANDAR PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II DISERTAI DENGAN HIPERTENSI DI RSUD PESAWARAN PROVINSI LAMPUNG TAHUN 2025

ABSTRACT
DM is one of the non-communicable diseases that often occur in the community. in 2019 the number of people in the world who suffer from DM was 463 million people, representing 9.3% of the global population at the age of 20-79 years, 2018 ministry of health data explained that the prevalence of DM nationally was 8.5 percent or around 20.4 million Indonesians diagnosed with DM. DM patients also often experience serious acute and chronic complications, and can lead to death. another problem related to the handling of DM is the diverse geographical, cultural, and social problems. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of standardized nutritional care management in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension at Pesawaran Hospital.
The type of research that will be used is a quantitative research to find out the overview of the nutrition care process (NCP) in type 2 DM patients with hypertension, the location of the research was carried out in the working area of Pesawaran Hospital, which will be carried out in March 2025. The target of this study is 1 patient who has Diabetes Mellitus with Hypertension at Pesawaran Hospital. The variables that the researcher took were screening, nutrition assessment, nutritional diagnosis, nutritional intervention, monitoring and evaluation. The instruments used are nutrition screening, questionnaires, FFQ.
This study was conducted at the Pesawaran Regional General Hospital in 2025 for at least 3 days with a sample of one patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension. The analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis. The variables used were: laboratory data, clinical data such as blood pressure, GDS levels, food intake and personal history. The patient suffered from type 2 DM accompanied by hypertension when the patient's GDS level was examined, it was at 70 mg / dl, which indicated that the patient was also affected by hyperglycemia, the patient's nutritional status when the measurement was carried out was underweight, indicated by the patient's BMI of 17.68. The patient's intake before entering the hospital was also below normal levels, even the average patient's needs were not up to 50%
