GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH SEHAT PADA MAHASISWA POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN TANJUNGKARANG (KAMPUS A) TAHUN 2023

ABSTRAK

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a set of behaviors that are practiced on the basis of awareness as learning outcomes, which make a family, group or community able to help themselves (independently) in the health sector and play an active role in realizing public health (Ministry of Health RI, 2011).
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes towards clean and healthy living of Tanjungkarang Health Polytechnic students (campus A). The results of this study are expected to provide suggestions and input to the Department of Dental Engineering in order to increase the existence of the Department of Dental Engineering to the wider community.
The population of this study were students of the Tanjung Karang Health Polytechnic campus A, totaling 2337 people and the sample of this study amounted to 100 people, using the sampling technique used wassimple random sampling, this type of research is a quantitative research methodinstrument description survey used a questionnaire with a total of 33 questions with ordinal measurement, and this study used univariate data analysis, univariate analysis aims to explain or describe the characteristics of each research variable presented in a descriptive form.
The results of this study are with the highest percentage, namely the level of good knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior as much as 97%. Thus it can be concluded that the level of student knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior is quite good. Therefore the researchers suggest that the institution continues to support and facilitate clean and healthy living behavior activities at the Tanjungkarang health polytechnic educational institution.
