PEMBUATAN GIGI TIRUAN SEBAGIAN LEPASAN AKRILIK RAHANG ATAS DAN RAHANG BAWAH FREE END DENGAN KASUS RESORBSI TULANG ALVEOLAR

ABSTRACT
Tooth loss will result in a decrease in masticatory function, if not immediately replaced with dentures it will cause alveolar bone resorption. In the case report that the author got, the patient experienced loss of teeth 27, 37, 47 with cases of alveolar bone resorption. The dentist asked me to make a partial denture for the upper and lower jaw.
The purpose of writing this final project report is to determine denture design, technique for selecting and arranging tooth elements, and the constraints in making acrylic removable partial dentures in cases of alveolar bone resorption in order to obtain good retention, stabilization, and masticatory function.
In the manufacturing procedure, the stages of model preparation, survey, block out, design determination, design transfer, ocludator planting, clutch making, base are carried out. Followed by the preparation of denture elements, wax contouring, flasking, boiling out, packing, curing, deflasking, finishing, and polishing .
The results, smooth and shiny dentures, the color of the tooth elements according to the SPK, good retention and stabilization. In conclusion, the design of the maxillary prosthesis uses a saddle plate with buccal wings up to the movable and immovable mucosal limits, three-finger claps are placed on tooth 26. For the lower jaw a horse shoe plate is used with buccal wings up to the movable and immovable mucosal limits. Half jackson claps were placed on teeth 36, 46. The normal alignment of the teeth on the ridge follows the arch to achieve good occlusion. Constraints, the implant material in the lower cuvet covers the teeth in the upper cuvet, the implant material sticks to the prosthesis, the polishing material enters the cervix. Suggestions, giving vasseline and CMS evenly and cleaning the polishing material with a brush and scapel.
