PEMBUATAN GIGI TIRUAN SEBAGIAN LEPASAN AKRILIK RAHANG BAWAH KLASIFIKASI KENNEDY KELAS III MODIFIKASI 1 PADA KASUS PENYEMPITAN EDENTULOUS

ABSTRACK
Removable partial dentures are prostheses that replace one or more missing teeth. Based on the case report that the author got, the patient had lost teeth 36 and 46 with cases of narrowingedentulous on the lower jaw.
The purpose of writing this final project report is to find out the design, selection technique and arrangement of denture elements as well as the constraints and how to overcome them in the manufacture of acrylic removable partial dentures in that case.
The procedure for making this acrylic GTSL starts with the preparation of a working model,surveying, blockout, design transfer, base manufacture, occludator implantation, clasp manufacture, gear arrangement,flasking, boiling out, packing, curing, deflagging, finishing andpolishing.
As a result, a prosthesis with good occlusion, retention and stabilization was obtained, the plate was smooth and shiny, easily removed by the patient. Conclusion, horseshoe plate design, wings to the extent of the movable and immovable mucosa, C clasps are placed on teeth 35 and 45. Selection of tooth elements with size 52 (small) and color A3,5. Elements of the first molars are replaced by second premolars. Arrangement of tooth elements is made normal. Constraints, at the tooth preparation stage, there is a lot of reduction in the distal mesial and cervical parts of the teeth because of spaceedentulous already cramped. Whendebottling, broken mandibular working model. Suggestion, reduction in some parts of the tooth elements do not eliminate the anatomical shape of the teeth, the CMS review must be even.
