PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BOOKLET TERHADAP TINGKATPENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL TENTANGPENCEGAHAN PERDARAHAN POSTPARTUMDI PMB WILAYAH KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG

Postpartum hemorrhage is the loss of 500 ml of blood or more at the third stage of labor. One of the causes of this is the lack of knowledge of the mother about the danger signs of pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. The way that can be used to increase knowledge is by providing health education, booklet media can be used as an effective tool because it can stimulate the sense of sight and attract attention.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education using booklet media on the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage in PMB Bandar Lampung city. This type of research is Quasy Experiment with a pretest-posttest design with control group design. The sample in this study was divided into two groups, namely the experimental and control groups. The data taken is primary data, tested with the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, then processed using a computer.
Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, there is an effect of health education using booklet media on the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage in PMB Bandar Lampung City as evidenced by the results of the Asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
The conclusion of this study is that the provision of health education using booklet media can increase the knowledge of pregnant women about the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage.
