PROSEDUR PEMBUATAN GIGI TIRUAN SEBAGIAN LEPASAN AKRILIK DENGAN KEHILANGAN GIGI 15 16 26 35 36 DAN 46 PADA KASUS EDENTULOUS AREA YANG SEMPIT

Partially or completely edentulous tooth loss is a condition in which one or more teeth are removed from their place. In the case report that the author got during the field work practice there were loss of teeth 15, 16, 26, 35, 36 and 46 with a narrow edentulous area case
The purpose of writing this Final Project Report is to find out the design of the base to be used, the techniques for arranging tooth elements, as well as the constraints and how to overcome them in the manufacture of acrylic removable partial dentures in cases of narrow edentulous areas.
Laboratory procedures include receiving working models, making designs on working models, surveying and blocking out, making clutches, implanting articulators, setting teeth, wax contouring, flasking, boiling out, packing, curing, deflasking, finishing, and polishing.
The results obtained by the denture are in accordance with the design of the SPK, the denture when inserted there are no obstacles, the retention and stabilization are quite good, the denture base is smooth and shiny and not porous, the denture is acceptable to patients and dentists, the aesthetics are quite good and the color of the base matches the color of the gums, the reduced denture on the lower jaw should be in the form of a contact point but in the end it is in the form of a contact area, because the author paid attention to the narrow edentulous area during arrangement, without looking back at the anatomical shape of the teeth. In conclusion, the basic design used horseshoes, and the use of C clasps on teeth 14, 25, 34 and 45, three finger clasps on teeth 27 and 47, occlusal rest on teeth 17 and 47. The author had problems when arranging the teeth because of the edentulous area narrow.
