GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN MAHASISWA POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN TANJUNGKARANG TENTANG FUNGSI GIGI TIRUAN TAHUN 2023

ABSTRACT
Knowledge is the result know of man, this happens after people perform a search for a spesific object. So this knowledge obtained from the activity of the senses of sight, smell, touch and sense taste buds, most of the knowledge is acquired through the eyes and ears.
The purpose of writing this final report is to find out overview of the knowledge of Tanjungkarang Health Polytechnic Students about the function of dentures in 2023.
The population of this study were students of the Tanjungkarang Health Polytechnic campus A, namely the department of Medical Laboratory Engineering (TLM), Pharmacy, Midwifery and Nursing totaling 2033 students, the sample of this study was 100 people using simple random sampling technique. This type of research is a quantitative survey method description, the instrument used was a questionnaire with a total of 12 question with ordinal measurements, and this study used univariate data analysis, univariate analysis aimed to explain or describe the characteristics of each research variable presented in a descriptive form.
The results of this study are that the percentage with good knowledge is 17%, the percentage with fairly good knowledge is 34%, the percentage with poor knowledge 49%. Thus it can be concluded that the level of student knowledge about the function of dentures is classified as not good. The author`s suggestion is to conduct sicialization, conducting counseling, promoting and collaborating with all associations.
