PEMBUATAN GIGI TIRUAN SEBAGIAN LEPASAN PARADENTAL KOMBINASI AKRILIK DENAN TERMOPLASTIK AKRILIK RAHANG ATAS DAN AKILIK RAHANG BAWAH PADA KASUS MESIOVERSI 37 DAN 47

ABSTRACT
Removable partial dentures are used as a substitute for missing teeth so that they can replace the function of natural teeth. The author found cases of making a combination of acrylic removable partial dentures with thermoplastic acrylic on teeth 12,21,22 and mandibular acrylic on teeth 36,46 with cases of tooth migration.
The purpose of writing, to find out the design, technique of selecting and arranging teeth, constraints and how to overcome them in order to get good retention, stabilization, aesthetics.
Procedures for making maxillary prostheses include preparation of working models, surveying, duplicating, implanting ocludators, designs transfer, making clasps and thermoplastic bases. Followed by flasking, sprue installation, boiling out, injection, deflasking, sprue cutting, finishing, tooth arrangement, and acrylic work. For mandibles, preparation of working model, survey, block out, planting of occludator, design transfer, clasp making, tooth assembly, flasking, boiling out, packing, curing, deflasking, finishing and polishing.
Results, prosthesis according to design, retention, stabilization, good aesthetics. Insertion of the maxillary prosthesis, the grip at the cervical of tooth 23 is slightly open, the mandibular prosthesis is fixed, well occluded with the antagonist teeth. In conclusion, the maxillary prosthesis uses a unilateral base design and a mandibular saddle. Retention is achieved by gripping the main clasp and C, stabilization from the expansion of the base and wings. Medium-sized tooth elements with A3 color, incisor shape oval, convex labial and blunt distal. The anterior teeth were arranged with a 2 mm overjet and 4 mm overbite, the posterior teeth were arranged normally. The problem, when inserting the cervical part of tooth 23 was slightly open and tooth 36 was grinding again. Suggestion, finishing must be careful so that the denture components make good contact with the mucosa, the time span from the impression of the working model to insertion should not be too long so that the prosthesis can be properly inserted (fit).
