PEMBUATAN GIGI TIRUAN SEBAGIAN LEPASAN AKRILIK RAHANG ATAS DAN RAHANG BAWAH KLASIFIKASI KENNEDY KELAS III MODIFIKASI 1 DENGAN KASUS EDENTULOUS AREA YANG SEMPIT

ABSTRACT
Loss of teeth that are not replaced immediately can result in a narrow edentulous area. One way to overcome this is by using dentures. The author got cases of making acrylic removable partial dentures on teeth 16, 26, 36, 46 with narrow edentulous areas on teeth 26.
The aim of the authors of this final report is to find out the design, tooth arrangement techniques, constraints and how to overcome them in the manufacture of maxillary and mandibular acrylic removable partial dentures in order to obtain good retention and stabilization.
The manufacturing procedure is carried out at the preparation stage of the working model, surveying the working model and blocking out, determining the design and transferring the design, making the grips and base, installing the ocludator. Then the selection and arrangement of tooth elements, flasking, boiling out, packing, curing, deflasking, finishing, and polishing.
The results showed that the dentures were smooth and shiny, the retention and stabilization were quite good, the tooth color matched the work order. Conclusion, the horseshoe-shaped plate design with buccal wings up to the movable and immovable mucosal limits. Half Jackson clasp are placed on teeth 27, 47 and C clutches on teeth 15, 35. Selection of gear elements with size 30 (small). Teeth are arranged normally with mesial, distal, cervical reduction. Constraints, during insertion there is an undercut due to the writer not covering the undercut when blocking out. Suggestions, dental technicians must block out properly, must understand and be skilled in tooth arrangement in order to get good occlusion and stabilization.
