Abstract

Pulmonary TB or Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosi bacteria. Pulmonary TB or Tuberculosis is an old disease that is still the biggest killer among infectious diseases. The world is still not free from TB.
The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the quality of the physical environment of homes in patients with pulmonary TB in the working area of the Bandar Lampung market in Ambon City in 2020. by using random sampling. Data that has been collected, then analyzed by tables with editing and tabulating steps.
Based on the results of research that has been done on 70 houses with pulmonary TB, it is known that ventilation of 15 (21.4%) has met the requirements. Occupancy density of 14 (20.0%) meets the requirements. lighting of 25 (35.7%) meets the
requirements. Humidity of 28 (40.0) meets the requirements. A floor of 68 (97.1) meets the requirements. A wall of 41 (58.6) meets the requirements. And a ceiling of 40 (57.1) meets the requirements. Thus the researchers suggest that the walls of houses that are not waterproof should be replaced with waterproof walls, so that seepage does not cause moisture to occur. Improve ventilation that does not meet the requirements to be 10% of the floor area. Fix lighting that is not eligible by opening the window every morning.
