EFEKTIVITAS PEMBERIAN MINYAK ZAITUN TERHADAP RUAM POPOK PADA BALITA DI PMB CHATARINA TARAHAN LAMPUNG SELATAN

Babies are very sensitive to anything in the surrounding environment, therefore babies are not used to conditions that can attack their body conditions, especially skin problems. Baby's skin has a higher pH than adult skin and also the condition of baby's skin which is relatively thinner and softer makes babies more susceptible to infection, irritation and allergies which causes a high risk of baby's skin developing diaper rash. Diaper rash is an inflammation of the baby's genital area which is characterized by the appearance of red spots on the skin which if not treated appropriately, the rash will expand and interfere with the baby's comfort.
The description above has motivated the authors to make a Final Project Report entitled "Effectiveness of Giving Olive oil to Diaper Rashes in Toddlers". The purpose of providing midwifery care for infants and toddlers toward baby F is to treat diaper rash in infants and toddlers appropriately.
The method used in data collection is the application of the 7-step varney method to treat diaper rash in infants and toddlers. Data collection was also carried out by interviewing the mother of Baby F, physical examination and making observations supported by data from the child register book at PMB Chatarina and documenting using SOAP.
After treatment for diaper rash on Baby F using olive oil, Baby F got significant recovery, it can be concluded that using olive oil can treat diaper rash.
