Giventheimportance ofcleanwater for humanneeds,the quality ofthewatermustmeetthephysical,chemicalandbacteriological requirementsaccording tothestandardofcleanwaterquality.MinisterofHealth RegulationNo.32of2017concerningenvironmentalhealthquality standardsand waterhealth requirements. Thisstudy aimstodeterminetheconditionsofdug wellconstructionin Bumidaya,whichisdescriptive innature,whichdescribesthe conditionsof dug wellconstruction inBumidayaVillage, Palas District, SouthLampungRegencyin 2021.Basedonthe resultsofthestudy,theresultsshowthatthefloor ofthewell thatmeetstherequirementsis54.5\%., Thelipsofthewellsthat meetthe requirementsare36.4\%,thewallsofthewellsthatmeettherequirementsare 21.6\%,theSPAL thatmeetstherequirementsis40.9\%,thedistancefromthe pollutant sources(TPS, Septictank, Cage,and PAL) that meetthe requirements requirements as much as4.5\%. Basedontheresultsthathave beenobtained,theauthorsconcludethatout of88familiesthathavedug wellsinBumidaya, there are73familieswhosewells donotmeettherequirementswitha percentageof 83\%and15 familieswhose wells havemet the requirements with apercentageof 17\%.
