abstract: Jamban is a building that is used to remove and dull human waste in a particular place so that the dirt in a certain place is not the cause of disease and pollute the residential environment. Based on the data of hospitalization of Sukaraja inpatient year 2019, 1 (one) quarter is known as 88.2% of KK who already have a decent sanitation (healthy bridge). The other 11.8% have no improper sanitation (healthy jamban). Second quarter result (two) is known as 89.0% of KK that already has a decent sanitation (healthy bridge). The other 11% have no improper sanitation (healthy jamban). And Quarter III (three) is known as 89.0% of KK who already have a decent sanitation (healthy bridge). The other 11% have no improper sanitation (healthy jamban). To know the factors that are in the community that do not have a latrines in Kelurahan Kangkung Village work center Inpatient clinic Sukaraja year 2020.
This research is a descriptive that is used to look at the factors of society that do not have a Jamban in the village of Kangkung sub-district Inpatient health care clinic. The study was conducted in April 2020. The research results are known to be the most important education factor is the category of respondent’s elementary education as much as 57.1% while the middle level education is 42.9%. The most knowledge factor is the category of respondents less good knowledge as much as 78.5% while the good knowledge is as much as 21.4%. The most significant behavioral factor of society is the category of 69.0% of the respondents, while the behavior is less than good as 31.0%. The most significant income generation is the category of low income respondents as much as 63.1% while the high level is 36.9%. The role of a public figure/figure is the highest level of respondents as well as 100.0%.
