This can result in subinvolution, non-fluent lochia expulsion, and postpartum hemorrhage. Based on the assessment data at PMB Martini A.Md.Keb. On February 5th 2022, it was found that during the last 6 months there were 102 cases of childbirth, 72.5% had perineal sutures. The purpose of the care given to Mrs. Y P1A0 is to reduce pain and accelerate wound healing by applying VCO to grade II perineal sutures. The method used in this care is varney obstetric management, documented in the form of SOAP, measurement of the NRS scale and the REEDA scale, and applying VCO to perineal sutures 3 times a day for 5 days starting 24 hours post partum. This care was carried out at PMB Martini A.Md.Keb, Bandar Lampung. The results of perineal wound care using VCO, found a REEDA score of 5 to 1 and an 8/10 pain scale to 0/10.The conclusion in the application of VCO to perineal wounds is proven to be able to accelerate the healing of suture wounds and reduce pain scale.On this basis, the author suggests thatapplication of VCO to preineal wound grade IIin post partum mothers can be applied by health workers, especially in PMB Martini, A.Md.Keb.
