%X Background : SDKI data (2017) show that the prevalence of children who are exclusively breastfed until the age of 4-5 months is still low, at 38%. From this data, it was also found that children aged 6 to 23 months were 52.8% of all Indonesian children do not receive the nutrition they need during the first two years of their life to grow and develop optimally. Tulang Bawang Regency is one of the regions in Lampung province with the largest percentage of children under five being very thin (BB/TB) at 7.7%.Objective : To describe the description of complementary feeding for infants and toddlers aged 6-24 months in the Banjar Baru Public Health Center, Tulang Bawang Regency in 2021. Methods : This type of quantitative descriptive research uses a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all mothers who had infants and toddlers aged 6-24 months in the Banjar Baru Public Health Center, Tulang Bawang Regency as many as 340 mothers. Based on the calculation of the sample size, the sample in this study was 132 mothers, the samples were examined and screened according to the form and criteria for inclusion and exclusion of research.Results : The results showed that the frequency distribution of the history of complementary feeding was not according to age by 33.3%, Infants and Toddlers who experienced malnutrition at 6.9%, History of non-exclusive breastfeeding by 30.3%, Most infants and toddlers with visits to the posyandu not every month by 48.5%, the type of complementary feeding given to infants and toddlers is more than half, namely 51.5% is manufactured food, and almost all infants and toddlers have a history of infectious diseases, namely ARI of 83 ,3%.Conclusion : There are still found complementary feeding that is not appropriate for age, non-exclusive breastfeeding, infants and toddlers who are malnourished, and visits to posyandu are not every month.Suggestion : The importance of health education for mothers who have babies and toddlers aged 6-24 months about MP-ASI, monitoring growth and development by re-activating posyandu in villages through health cadres in the community, especially the community in the Banjar Baru Community Health Center, Tulang Bawang Regency so that infants and undernourished toddlers can be treated immediately %I Poltekkes Tanjungkarang %L repo1111 %D 2022 %T KARAKTERISTIK IBU, BAYI DAN BALITA (USIA 6-24 BULAN) DALAM PEMBERIAN MAKANAN PENDAMPING ASI (MP-ASI) %A Roslina Roslina
